Role of People Connectors

What is the role of People Connectors?

At the heart of the ACDC Project are our People Connectors. Friendly faces that knock on your door and chat to you about local support services.

People Connectors are not typical door knockers. They don’t want any money or to sign you up to anything.

Their job is to let people know about the free services available to them if they need some extra support. They also give you an information pack which that includes a fridge magnet with all the local services on it, brochures, booklets and how to connect with local mental health, wellbeing, community and emergency services.

This is a pic of our amazing People Connectors Tammy and Bronson (through our delivery partner Wellways) who have just finished knocking on doors in Claymore NSW and currently chatting to the community in Airds NSW.
