Expressions of Interest for Round 2 of the Assisting Communities through Direct Connection (ACDC) Project are now closed.
Having run successfully across four sites, the ACDC project is looking for suitably qualified organisations to help reach more communities around Australia.
The project offers a Proactive Outreach approach to linking people with services and assessing community needs by conducting safe door-to-door engagement with householders via ‘People Connectors’.
People Connectors discuss the project, deliver information products to householders, and engage willing householders in a survey. Householders will also be offered information and assistance to take steps to connect with services for support.
The ACDC Project has funding from Community Mental Health Australia (CMHA) to deliver the project in up to 20 sites around Australia by 31 August 2022.
