MEET CITY OF STIRLING PEOPLE CONNECTORS – Danyelle, Lynda and Rose

How do you think the ACDC Project will help people in Stirling?

We think the ACDC Project will help the people in The City of Stirling by giving them a means to voice any issues and triumphs about their suburb and also provide them with useful information about mental health and wellbeing services that they may not have known about in their local area.

What do you think are some of the main challenges facing the people of Stirling at the moment?

We think some of the main challenges the people in The City of Stirling are facing include financial stressors, housing issues, food insecurity and safety.

What are you most excited about being a People Connector?

We are most excited about hearing from the locals. We want to hear about the positive and negatives aspects in their lives and what their potential solutions could be if given an opportunity. We are also excited to make connection with the people.

Why and how do you think the ACDC Project is different from other mental health and wellbeing projects?

We think the ACDC Project is different from other mental health and wellbeing projects because are getting out there and talking to people who may not always have an opportunity to voice any concerns or realise that there are services available that can meet their needs.
